I was asked to speak at St. Luke's for their monthly meeting. They asked me to share my story & my experiences with St. Luke's. I got up to speak one week after River's should-have-been 2nd birthday.
I've been to a lot of therapy-both for the mind & body. It took me TWO years to be able to speak. And, I did it for the first time in the auditorium at St. Luke's! I had procrastinated & practiced at 7am the day of the presentation. So, I mostly just spoke from my heart.
St. Luke's edited & posted it on youtube (with my permission). It has been shared with the executive board & will also be used as a training video for labor & delivery nurses.
